Please help me advocate for occupational therapy and it's role within the home health setting. This is a necessary step within our healthcare system to confirm that occupational therapy is competent and certified to conduct assessments just as our fellow interdisciplinary team members such as speech therapists and physical therapists. Medicare has yet to acknowledge the justification of our services within this setting. This affects all of us, whether it is right now or in the future. Please take one minute to help me in advocating for my future career. This is an assignment from one of my graduate courses this semester, and I would appreciate the help tremendously!
