Greetings, everyone!
I recently graduated from the OT program and passed the board exam, so now I am looking into jobs in Washington state and California (I applied for licenses in these states). My wish is to work with adult populations in any setting, and as I was looking into the jobs, I wanted to ask for any insight and piece of advice from people who went through this process before.
So my question is: What are some critical questions I should be asking during the interviews? I have a list of questions about the productivity level, overview of diagnoses/client population, typical workload, and such; are there any other imperative questions I should be asking as a new OT?
I would appreciate any small piece of wisdom from everyone. Thank you and have a great day!
