In terms of the DO application Grade Replacement/Forgiveness policy: Do Adcoms see the original grade?

haha, /thread.

Yeah, adcoms get your full transcripts so they see everything. Whether they look at each individual grade or mostly look at GPA is up for debate, but they definitely can see everything if they so choose.

I don't think I'd sweat it, though. If they're willing to do a grade replacement type thing for your GPA, this indicates that they are willing to overlook a poor grade if you brought it up during your retake.

Yes they do see the grade but don't worry if you get a higher grade the 2nd time or 3rd time it shows improvement ..
If they do care in ur previous grades then whats the point of grade replacement> Thats why they do grade replacement they give u an option to succes again if u want 2 it's all up to you
I used to be the same way asking this types of questions but now I know it 🙂
Good Luck 🙂

I would guess that adcoms look at your gpa numbers, then they skim through the actual classes (if anything). If there is a large number of retakes they may look closer, but I would bet the actual transcript normally gets a glance at best.
