Hey Everyone,
I'm sorry if this question has been asked to death but I've been searching around SDN and I really have been getting so many mixed replies.
From my understanding, grade replacement means that if I took BIO 101, and I got an F - and then I took it the next semester and got an A, then only the A will be calculated in my AACOMAS GPA.
However, med school adcoms can see transcripts, which will reveal both the F and the A, even though the F is not calculated into my GPA (I think?). Oppositely, several posts on here have stated that adcoms don't even see your transcript until you are accepted.
So...do adcoms see your transcript when they receive your application? Or do the only see the AACOMAS transcript, without the old grades?
