So I've read a lot on here about an upward trend in grades blah blah, this ones a little different:
I'm currently a junior bio major. Freshman year I took Calc 1 & 2 and got a C+ and B+ respectively. Calc 1 just slipped away from me on the final but Calc 2 I really did my best (2nd highest grade in the class he only gave 1 A). This semester I took Stat 515.. I had an A by about 0.5 points before the exam this morning and I'm not feeling too confident about it after taking it. Theres still a slim chance of an A, but more than likely it'll be a B+.
Outside of these three math classes I have a 4.0 (cGPA 3.88). I actually like math and I've always been pretty decent at it, I'm just not sure why I havent been able to finish the As. My question is - do you think this shows the admissions committee anything? Honestly, I'm not too worried about it but I am curious if they look for trends like this. For example, does me getting As in all of my classes but math related ones show a certain learning style or thought process?
Thanks!
