Grade Updates?

My apologies if this has been posted before, but is it possible/recommended/required/etc. to update schools about grades from this past semester? The reason I ask is because my grades this semester raised my gpa a considerable amount and I think would reflect well on my application, but I'm not sure how to go about updating schools, or if such updates are
even welcome. Thanks for any insight anybody can give me about this!

Depends on the school with the "how." But if your GPA went waaaaay up then yes, they would be very interested.
