some people have said SMP grades aren't factored in for medical residency placements....but how about dental specialties? i've asked some professors in my graduate program and there were some mixed advice. some said that schools only emphasize dent/med school GPAs & board scores. another prof told me that grad school grades do matter in selection of specialties. the degree will probably matter, but will the GPA matter?
