For those of you that went thru the application process, when grades are calculated, do dental schools look at all grades for your gpa? For instance, most universities require eng 1A,B,C to graduate, but their are english classes lower then this for people who don't speak english as their first language or who just have poor writing skills. Would that count as well? Also, what about a course you took in high school at a community college and didn't do too well on. I took a programming class while still in HS a few years ago, so just wanted to know. Thanks.

I think all your grades will count towards your overall GPA, but when they are reviewing your application, they mostly focus on the last 2 years of your education and grades from a 4 year univeristy.

I don't know, but if you counted the CC class for college credit (had it transferred to your undergrad school as transfer credit) then it counts. Whether you can do this or not depends on the undergrad or program, but if you didn't (and used it only for HS credit), then it won't count.

But if you don't mail that CC's transcript or list any of their classes, then AADSAS won't have a record of it
