Are pluses and Minuses taken into account when configuring Your AMCAS GPA that med schools will see?

Yes.

A = 4.0
A- = 3.7
B+ = 3.3
B = 3.0
... so on and so forth.

Yes they are, just like whatyousay said. The exception is that A+'s count as a 4.0 not 4.3
