Graduation gift for incoming orthodontic resident.

GF is graduating from Dental school and will be attending USC Orthodontics Residency in June. I'm thinking about getting her a Ipad or something that would help her during her residency. Any other ideas?

Hu-Friedy Distal End cutters, flush cut and hold. Way more useful than an iPad. She can use them in practice too.

The Hu-Friedy plier is the one I always reach for when I have an adult in the chair complaining of 0.2 mm of wire scratching their cheek. Like today when I had to go to the office for an emergency patient. 1 minute later, we were all on our way out the door.

Oh wait, she will probably be able to buy these at an awesome student discount once she starts residency, so maybe wait. Or get her an iPad.
