what does dental schools/adcoms think about people who graduate in less than 4 years( mabe a semester or two). Is it looked upon good( he/ she was dedicated to finish the school as reasonable as possible) or look bad upon( he/she rushed to finish school mabe because he/she had other priorities)

what do you guys think??

It is TERRIBLE! Make sure you take the full four years or they will think you're some flighty freeballin fickle person! Man I hope you can schedule some more classes.

ya serious.. i thought it would be a good thing..

any 1 else??

I don't think it'd be bad?
I'm graduating in three years and going to dental school this fall... The interviewers I've met all seemed to be impressed with it.... I think it shows your motivation since it is pretty tough to get everything sorted out... Like I took the DATs after sophomore year...
I'm not sure if your reasoning for 'look bad upon' works cause it takes a lot of dedication to finish everything in 3 years. to do everything in 2 years (cause if you want to graduate in 3, you have to prepare everything for your app the first two years of college. as in get all your rec letters, take the DAT, shadow, etc.), your first priority will be studying/preparing for dental school apps...
pm me if you have any other questions. i'll be more than happy to answer them.

i graduated in 3.5 years. it doesn't matter. they don't show a preference or "oh they are dedicated" because they never mentioned about that.... you have to know that you only need 90 credits to get into dent school. some places- you don't even need a degree to get in.. so i dont' think it matters. finish early if you can. and save tuition. also, its great to just relax for 6 months before school starts. i've gotten 6 interviews i went to and 4 turned down and got accepted to 4. i really don't think its because i graduated early...

Personally, since I'm doing everything in 3 years, I think there's a huge difference between 3 years and 3.5 years.
To do it in 3, you need to apply after 2 years of undergrad. To do it in 3.5, you still apply normally, after 3 years of college.

I took a semester off after H.S and I am finishing my BA in 3.5 years. No one said a thing to me about it.
