Grady refusing to admit out of county pt's?

someone mentioned at another forum that "Grady's had some big-time money problems lately. This year the hospital began refusing to admit patients who are not Fulton or DeKalb county residents."

Not sure why you are posting this, but Grady has had money problems for a long time. The Fulton-DeKalb County Hospital Authority won't let it go under though. It relies too heavily on it.

As far as trauma patients are concerned, Grady is still the only Level I trauma center in Atlanta and still accepts trauma patients throughout the region.
