Gram negative bacteria with NO endotoxin

Can anyone name the gram - bacteria that do NOT have the endotoxin LPS.

The reason i am asking is that most gram negatives have the endotoxin and sometimes in books this characteristic is implied and not written. So is hard to distinguish which one has it.

Bacteroides doesn't have it.

And don't forget Listeria... gram+ with endotoxin

Chlamydia's not considered a strict gram(-). It's obligate intracellular.

Microcards will categorize the organisms the way you need to see them, so just buy those.

I believe it's too late to buy flashcards as i 've already studied CMMRS. What do you think Phloston? Is it worth it?

I never used Clinical Microbiology Made Ridiculously Simple.

I would say it's definitely worth it to go through the tree-algorithm cards that are in the Microcards.

You'll just need to assess how good you feel your micro is at this point. If you're already really confident in it, then the Microcards could be a nice adjunct. If you need more help, then the Microcards are mandatory.

Pardon the hijack but which microcards are you talking about? The ones by Sanjiv? I'm taking micro this semester and I bought the CMMRS book, but I found the anatomy cards by Netter pretty useful so having some flash cards for micro might also be beneficial to have.
