I'm not sure what makes me think of this, but if you make a grammatical error during your interview, would you correct yourself or not?

Obviously, I'll be careful to make sure that I don't make any grammatical errors, but if I do . . .

Try not to think about these things. If you do, you'll be way too nervous in your interviews...

You want to be relaxed in your interviews. If you make a grammatical error and the conversation flows on, great. Don't freak out, the interviewer might not have even noticed it.

When you start stressing over the small stuff in an interview, then you start messing up on the big stuff.

Yes, this is an observed psychological phenomenon. The more you worry about making mistakes, the more mistakes you will make.

Depakote's right - try to be relaxed. Grammatical errors are not a big deal - you've made it to the interview; at this point they are looking for "fit" with their medical school. They're already confident that you're "smart enough" to handle the coursework.

If anything, being grammatically PERFECT may be an indicator to them that you are a little too uptight for their school.
