If I take the generals on October 31, and my first deadline is November 30,
Will my scores make it on time for the Nov. 30 and Dec. 1 deadlines?
Is one month enough time?

I have already called ETS, and have told me that they hold the scores within
10-15 days. After that, it will depend on how long New Jersey head-quarter
will ship the scores to schools.

Any thoughts?

I took them in mid-March and got the scores back in about 11 business days. I think that's average, but my guess is it could be slower in the fall since more people are taking them.

I wouldn't worry about it. The last psychology GRE of the year is administered usually within the first week of November. It can be a stretch sometimes to get the score reports to a school by November 30- but I think I was able to get my psych scores to all of my December 1st schools who required them. The subject test scores take long to process, in my experience, than the general ones do, which is your concern. You also have to option, at some point before you receive the score report in the mail, to pay like an extra $12 or something like that and get the scores over the phone. You will already know the scores of the verbal and quantitative sections, but you could call ahead to get your analytical writing score, and add it onto your application as soon as you know. Check with you individual programs; some schools will still accept GRE reports even after their application deadlines. I believe that even some schools that say they will not accept late materials will actually accept late materials anyway.
Have you take the GREs before? At the very least, if you had taken them already you could have old scores sent first and have the new ones arrive as soon as they are ready, and your application could be processed on time.

Like others have said, I wouldn't sweat it too much. Many schools are are a little flexible about GREs since they know it is out of your hands. I mean, I even forgot to send my transcripts for one school and sent that in late and it was still fine. Just to make sure you get the score you want, I would take it earlier...but I understand that it isn't always possible.

Good luck!:luck:
