So, I'm getting pretty nervous here. I just took the GRE today, and now I'm freaking out about my chances of getting into -any- of my schools. I've got five schools I'm looking at, though I know some of 'em are super long shots.

Any ideas on whether I've got a chance at any of these?

GPA: 3.0-3.1 (cumulative based off multiple schools, not sure what overall's going to be yet)
GRE: 630V, 530Q - 1160 total
Experience: Public health major, a semester of social sciences research, work in a public health-based office, experience in public health education

Schools:
University of Minnesota (my home school)
Emory (long shot)
Ohio State
Saint Louis University
University of Pittsburgh

Based off of my low Q score, is it more feasible for me to switch my preferred concentration away from epidemiology? I know they want higher Q scores...and I'm not cutting it on that. I'm also interested in MCH...

Have you taken math and/or statistics courses in undergrad and earned good grades in them? You could refer to those grades to explain your quantitative GRE score.

I didn't apply to any of the schools that you are, but your public health experiences will definitely help you gain admission...just make sure you highlight them in your personal statement and not only list them in your resume/CV.
