Hey y'all!

I finally registered to take the GRE on August 24th (it'll be my first time). I just wanted to get opinions from those who have either applied already or from those who have been through it - is this test date cutting it close? Most of my applications have an October/November deadline. I understand scores take about two weeks, so that would put me in the right date range.

I feel off about this because I wanted to submit my application ASAP and get it in early, but I have a full summer schedule and didn't really get to write essays or study for the GRE.

Anyway, what do you guys think?

From my personal opinion, you're fine. However, the only problem you might have is not getting the score you need/want. You wouldn't be able to retake it again. I understand your summer schedule situation though, it really makes it hard to fit in the GRE (it's always an inconvenience).
