So I sent my scores the day I took my test (6/7/2014) to PTCAS using the given school codes online. I didn't realize that PTCAS wouldn't accept them until July 1st when the applications open. I chose to send them at that time since the first four scores sent are free, but only right after the test when you are still at the testing center. I just got off the phone with both PTCAS and ETS and the general consensus is that they "should be able" to get the scores to the right places.

I was just wondering if any of you have any experience/knowledge of this or know of anyone who does, and how it went?

I'm wondering the same thing - I'm taking the GRE in 2 days and want to take advantage of sending the 1st four scores for free.

Well, I talked to the ETS guy again because I was a little confused and he said, worst case scenario, you just pay to send them out again. So, while it might not be the smoothest way to send scores, if you submit them early you could save ~$100, and if it doesn't work, you just pay like normal.

Kind of a bad system in my opinion considering the encouragement from both PTCAS and ETS to get things done early, and then basically taking away an incentive by not accepting scores before apps open.

I went through this last year....ug. I hate all the additional fees! Anyway, I called ETS and said "the school says they didn't get the score", which was true as my scores were sent before the cycle opened. So they did 1 free resend for me. (Don't try that until after the cycle opens obviously). I ended up having to pay anyway to add more schools so I don't feel too bad....they certainly made their money back.

Thanks for the reply and the good info!
