I just wrote my test yesterday. Unfortunately, my mind went blank when I reached the math section, so it leaves me no choice but to cancel my score. I would like to ask how canceling score influence admission application? Is it bad for them to see that i have taken the test three times and canceled it twice.

I just realized that ETS will note the fact that I have sat the test even if I have canceled it. Knowing that, I am thinking to reinstate my score now. I am positive that my AWA has improved, but uncertain about the Verbal and Quan.

Also, do you know school look at multiple GRE scores? Do they take the average of them or do they look at the higher marks?

Any suggestion is appreciated.

Thank you

i dont think the schools will know that you canceled the scores.

If you cancel, they dont see anything. The bigger issue is why you have canceled twice. Do you have lots of anxiety?

I took the GRE twice and I wanted to cancel my scores each time..

If I did I would have missed out on some pretty decent scores!

I canceled the score twice because I did the first time for "experience" and the second time, as I have mentioned above, my mind went blank when i reached the quantitative section. I went to write the test after work. I think I was a bit too tired and I was very anxious about the test for the whole day.

I just checked with ETS and verified that the school will not see anything. I am going to write the GRE one more time in October, hopefully is the last time, and this time I am going to take a day off for my test. So hope this helps!
