Hi everyone,
I'm a first year medical student and few years ago I became involved with an organization called Ben's Friends. They are a community of online support groups for individuals with rare diseases who may not otherwise connect with others going through the same thing. Volunteering with BF has been both rewarding (learning about the patient experience) and flexible (it is done entirely online). They are looking for volunteers to help greet new members to the online communities- if this is something you would be interested in check out this link:
