Okay, I think Dr. House is so cool BUT how can someone be such an a$$? How does a doctor (med student/dental student) become like that? I refuse to believe he showed that kind of attitude in his personal statement, so when does a person become so 'mean' (for lack of a better term)? What will make a doctor like that? The stress of med/dental school? School loans? Inability to specialize? Are there really doctors like that in real life? People who are not afraid to show that they're jerks but have the smarts to do the job--right? Enough that people are still willing to keep them around? Can a dentist with an attitude like House's make it in private practice even if "the son of a b!tch is the best doctor [they] have?" What do y'all think?

Duh! I know that. That's why I asked, "are there really doctors like that IN REAL LIFE?" And if there are, how does a doctor become like that. I'm not talking about House himself BUT people with attitudes like that. 😀

If you seem unsure of yourself or show a lack of confidence who's going to trust you with their health? I didn't say cocky, but "a little cocky". Or in other words you should come across as very confident in yourself.
