So I'm signed up to take GRE's in a couple weeks but after looking at requirements for SMPs i decided to just take the MCAT in may and forget about GREs since they wont really help my application. However, most of the application deadlines are before my MCAT scores would be released (the site said a 4 week turnaround) so I'm stumped. Should i just take the GREs in two weeks anyway to apply to certain programs with and send my MCATs later? If I do poorly, do I have to report my GRE scores? Or can I not submit them?

ETS administers the GRE, AAMC administers the MCAT; if you do poorly on the GRE you won't have to submit it unless you want to, and they SMP will never find out if you decide not to.

This being said, if you haven't prepared for the GRE and you're taking it in two weeks then you're not going to get a stellar verbal score unless you know a laundry list of words that haven't been used in everyday speech for the last 300 years. I would talk to the SMPs you're applying to about late MCAT scores.
