anyone take both these companies' practice tests? do your scores differ between the two tests a great deal?

Although, I've only taken the Kaplan tests (and 1-2 GS tests), practice test scores tend to vary a fair bit between test prep companies in general. Don't sweat it too much. Just use those tests as a moderate indicator of your progress (your overall trend in each test prep company should be "up"), but really only use your AAMC exams as a real gauge of your preparedness. The AAMCs are the closest predictor for your score.
