Classes start on Tuesday for me, and I just realized that all of my classes will be taught by graduate students. Will this make the class more difficult? I'm scared that they won't really know what their doing.. Has anyone had any really good graduate student instructors?

Also, my school does not require that you take the general chem lab at the same time as the lecture, although you must take it at some point. I've been trying to switch into a math class with a really great professor, but the lab is in the way and there really is no other way to re-arrange it since everything else is full. I think it might be worth it to drop the lab and complete it next semester. Would this be a bad idea? Is taking the lab along with the class essential to doing well? Or does it not matter that I take the lab after i've completed general chem? Thanks.

Yes.

I did this with organic chem. It turned out fine for me.
