Neato!

Just remember to tell them that you're allergic to Tylenol, Toradol, Motrin, Ultram, Zofran and other over-the-counter medications. 🙂

Don't forget to

1) mention that your chest hurts

2) give a fake name/address/SSN & say you lost your wallet

3) say you're also allergic to all pain meds except one or two that start with a "D"

4--Oh crap! You only have a one-hour window after swallowing gum. R.I.P., man... R.I.P.

Don't forget to ask for Dilaudid by name!

it works better if you ask for hydromorphone... they look down upon you asking for brand name drugs

by the way op, i would start working on your will. if you have a family arrange for how they will be taken care of.

Dude, that's not fair you can't give out trade secrets like that. If everyone starts doing that, they may actually just put us on conveyor belts in the ER to run an ecg, a ct scan, and blood work upon arrival for all patients and let the super computer take charge! 😱

On another note, I had a patient on Friday with a hip fracture who was literally allergic to all pain meds. She had a list with side effects with her and it was on her pt record in the hospital. Poor old lady.. 🙁

Since it is layered gum, I would suspect it would take longer than the standard 7 years to digest, right?

This elephant swallowed his gum and look at him now!
