hi guys
i just took the exam i thought i did OK!
but i got the result i did good on chem and orgo i got 93 and 95 on them but i did really bad on pat🙁 i got 15 i dono what happend i got soo stress out by looking at the time🙁 i doT KNOW!!! my acadamic avarge is 20 and sience total is 21 and pat is 15🙁
any of u guys know if i should retake the exam because of my PAT section i am dieing here🙁 help guysss 🙁 🙁 🙁 🙁 🙁 🙁

hum.....I think if you are pretty happy about your science scores then there's no need to retake. Think about it, if you retake 3 months later, do you think you'll improve much more on the science sections? If you don't or if the scores drops, then it might look really bad. I didn't like my PAT scores either, but I just tell myself that PAT isn't everything, your GPA, science scores, rec., personal statements, and interviews all counts. In addition, not all dental schools see PAT as the most important score. So, I just tell myself, what's done is done. Just be glad that you are over with DAT!

i'm in the same boat as you. i took my DAT 2 weeks ago and scored an overall AA of 20, but my PAT was also a 15. I was really upset with my PAT score, and seeing everyone else's high PAT score on this forum just made me worry even more. but the fact is, it's over there's nothing we can do. our overall score of 20 is still well above average and should at least get us some interviews. and like sherry said in the previous post, some schools don't emphasize the PAT too much. It's much better to get the 15 on the PAT section than on one of the science sections, and i think the national avg PAT score is lower anyway, so a 15 is not dramatically below average. keep your head up.

but honestly nth helps🙁 i have to retake it i am F1 and its already hard to get into dental schoon with dat '
guys do u think if i take Kaplans classes will it help my pat?
