I almost didn't make it through the whole test because of it. Luckily someone had Tylenol, but that didn't help until later. What do you guys do when this happens? I never had it happen before.

Sent from my iPod using SDN Mobile app. Please excuse the typos.

I don't know what else to say then suck it up and power through. It's happen to me before, and I usually just try to focus on the test and forget about the headache/hangover/sickness/etc.

I usually take a deep breath, take a drink, and power through the pain. I've had this happen a few times but I'm usually caffeinated as hell during an exam so headaches don't happen too often.

The morning before exams or other important moments in life, I always take a couple of extra strength Tylenol's just in case. I have a history of migraines, so I know how inconvenient they can be. You just have to learn to think ahead and do your best to prepare for whatever may come your way. 🙂

Does Tylenol really work for you? When I take it, noooothing happens.

And I totally understand. I get migraines and stress headaches a lot, especially during/around big tests. I always keep a bottle of advil and something to drink with me.

Until I had sinus surgery in the middle of my sophomore year, I used to get killer headaches (and they didn't take a break for tests). Aside from some advil, tylenol, or excedrin, I always tried to have something to drink (water for dehydration, coffee/tea for caffeine) and gum/peppermints. Even if they didn't really help, I at least had something to distract myself with. =P

eat some food. Brain gets tired and needs energy. Always bring a snack for an exam thats long.

I got a headache during the writing section when I was taking the mcat. Just had to power through and not think about the pounding headache.

Caffeine is usually the best medicine for my headaches, and since I am nearly always a coffee (or 2..or 3) in before a test, I haven't gotten a headache. Major knock on wood here.
