Has anyone gotten an interview from Hampton university school of pharmacy for January of Feb 2011? I heard they added after interview test. Anyone know what the test is about or how the interview is?😕

No interview yet....but I did get an postcard saying that they received my application.

I got invited to an interview on feb 7th and I am nervous! They called me 2 days later and told me I have to take this test and I thought it was because I had low PCAT scores....but I have no idea what the test is about...she said it only takes 30 minutes?

where do you live? will u be driving or flying? my pcat is not so good either so i am not sure if that is the reason for the test. but if you are driving let me know may be we can drive together.

I live in Norfolk so it's not a far drive. Where do you live? My interview isn't until 3!

Did anyone get a postcard from HU saying that "Application package is complete for interview determination" with a checkmark for the pre-requisite requiring a class before admission? I got the postcard today. If so, do you know if I need to get that class done during Spr2011 to get an interview?

I got an interview and I have prereqs missing. They said as long as you have the prereqs done before the Fall semester and have your transcripts proving it you will be fine.

Hello, all! I just had my interview yesterday. It was very professional, but at the same time, I felt completely at ease. It was a great experience. Now, it's simply a waiting game. At the end, one of the interviewers said that I should hear a response no later than the end of May but it could be sooner. Does anyone have any idea if they respond more quickly to those they accept? Just curious. Thanks to all and good luck!! 🙂

I had my interview on Feb 28. I was very nervous for the interview and test, but the panel made me feel very comfortable. It is nothing more than a waiting game for us now, but I will tell you that I know my mail carrier by name now, as I make sure to run to the mailbox whenever I see her coming. This means everything to me, as I am sure it does to all of you!

Just wanted to touch base to let everyone know that the letters should be coming soon, as I received my letter of acceptance in the mail today. Good luck to everyone, and I cannot wait to meet my fellow P1's this coming August. Congrats to those that have made it, and DO NOT give up to those that didn't. Fingers crossed for everyone!!!!!

I am really interested in Hampton's pharmacy school, I'm from the local area so it is my main choice at this point in time. I know the assistant dean and have met with her so I am aware of the requirements and the full process. I am going into my second undergraduate year and finishing all my pre reqs. I will be taking the PCAT in September. I figure why not just try to get i this year, so if I don't get in, I can finish my degree or apply to more places in the future once I meet more requirements.

I was wondering if anyone got into Hampton and are willing to give their stats (gpa, pcat, degree or no degree, etc). Or any input in general would be great.

I know they just recently required the PCAT. I did not do so hot on my first time taking it but I don't have anymore time to take it before application deadline. How heavily do they weigh PCAT?
