Hand Calculation Speed and Accuracy?

Hi, I am TERRIBLE at hand calculations! Not just slow but I make tons of mistakes. Consensus seems to be practice makes improvements but does anyone have any good resources on the net to point me to, for practice problems? Or books?

Round like crazy.. Even if its like 43.35 I will round that to 40 or 45 (whichever is more convenient) and get a rounded answer. This will save time and allow you to pick the closest answer

I literally NEVER write anything down. If I can't do the math in my head, I'm either making the problem more difficult than it is, or I haven't practiced enough yet.

The EK 1001 books for physics and gen chem might be useful for practice.

I agree, the EK 1001 Physics problems are often calculation intensive.
