I started off college with 2 easy intro BCPM classes. It was graded on a curve and I did very well. As college got harder, the worse I did. I pulled all nighters all the time and don't understand how other people do it. How do I improve my time management?

identify your problem first

Spread out your studying over a longer period of time. Study a little bit each day and come midterms/finals you won't be as stressed and pressed for time to study everything.

We have midterms every 2 weeks so a lot of times I'll be studying for one class and get very behind in the other. I don't know how people do it lol.

My school is on the same schedule. Just keep up with the class and do the readings before lecture. Also I found doing a majority of the end of chapter exercises helped a lot.

Definitely would avoid all-nighters, no matter how behind you think you are. Sleep is vital for efficiency the next day. I know that time I spend studying after about 1am is worthless, because my brain is mush at that point and needs time to recover.

It's important to realize study time is about quality, not quantity. Reviewing material, working practice problems, and doing flashcards for 2 hours is way more efficient than passively looking over your notes for 4 hours, for example. Learn what study habits work for your learning habits.

I would be shocked if the kids that are getting A's are also pulling all-nighters. The kids that are getting A's are just studying efficiently.

Cramming is a disatrous way to learn. Binging and purging info simply leads to no retention.

Repetition drives learning.

Develop good time mgt skills.

Seek out your school's education or learning center; they'll help you with strategies for your optimum learning style.
