Going to eat and wait for the ball to drop while I start reading for Tuesday's lectures. 🙁 Perhaps it'll make more sense while I sip the icy mimosa.

I hope this year is better than last year. Last year really really sucked for me, or at least the last part did. I started the year getting engaged to my 7 year boyfriend, and ended it taking off my huge beautiful diamond ring (If you dont know, I lovelovelove diamonds) and hating him. Its weird how you think you know someone for so many years and then in a second you realize that you really can never really know anyone. (for the record there was no cheating involved) Maybe it will work out, who knows. It just sucks losing your best friend. Right now all I can do is make him feel like a jerk... kinda makes the hurt go away... 😉
