Happy Thanksgiving
Most of my holiday calls have been pretty quiet*. I think people don't want to mess up their long weekend by going to the ER ... so if it's trivial crap they are more likely to wait. I guess having butt pus is an emergency if you need to get up to go to work the next day, but it's tolerable if there's a party to go to or sleep off.
* excepting trauma call on the party holidays like 4th of July & Memorial Day ...
