Hey everyone, I was wondering what your idea is when it comes to getting your test back. Are you more relieved that you got a good grade or happy? I know it seems like a silly question but I have been having a weird mental thing this semester were I receive my grades and am not happy, but more relieved that I didn't do poorly and it will be "easier" for me to keep that grade throughout the semester. Has anyone else ever gone through this? What are your opinions?

I'm usually relieved.
I'm a natural downer with no confidence so I rarely expect much, so I'm usually relieved when I get my scores back. When I do really well (>90%) I can for certain say I'm happy.

1. Finish Exam >>>> Relief
2. Lookup answers to questions I was not sure of/redo problems with help from internet or textbook >>> Agonizing stress
3. Stop thinking about test >>> Happiness
4. Receive grades; Grade > B- == Relief. Grade > A- == Happiness.

Relieved because it means the class is almost over.

Happy if I beat the curve. 😀
