Hard to read verbal passages

For those of you who actually took the mcat, are most of the passages long, but easy to read? I just took AAMC 4 and found that to be the case, but was wondering how the real deal matched up.
(though AAMC 3 had very complicated philosophical passages)

it really can depend...but on my two real MCATs I found them to be easier except there is always that one or two hardass passages.

AAMCs are great practice for the real deal.....the real one seemed longer too by like a paragraph per passage...the question seemed easier though.
