Anyone know anything about the new DO school in Harlem. Just heard about it last week. Is it really bad to go to a new school without any stats on matches and passing the boards?

Above and below your thread there is like three more Touro-Harlem threads with lots of posts. I don't think there is anything wrong with being the inaugural class of an institution. Although you are right, there is no stats about the school yet so that is a little risky. Touro-Harlem should prove to be a very good school with lots of really really great rotation sites. 😀 👍

It's risky, but I don't think that there have been any DO schools that have been accredited and subsequently lost their accreditation. Although is a lot of negativity on these forums concerning new school openings, I am coming to the conclusion that many of these schools, while more risky than more established schools, wll produce fine physicians. Keep in mind that you may be a guinea pig, although not as much at branch campuses as their model will likely be similar to their previous schools.

Best of luck!
