Lets say I want to get into this program.

What am I looking at in terms of basic requirements.

If I have taken four pre-reqs (bio 1, 2, chem 1 and 2) am I ineligible?

I am a Psych major.

If im doing dentistry, do I have to take the DAT before applying?

Any info would help! Thanks!

It's an open program meaning if you have the money they will most likely accept you.

The Health Careers Program (HCP) website will probably answer many of your questions. Because you've taken bio and chem, you will not be admitted to HCP, but you can still take the required classes at Harvard Extension to fulfill your requirements. HCP is only an "extra," giving you a "diploma", harvard ID, discounted gym access, etc. You don't need any of these extras to meet your dental science requirements.

You would probably take the DAT after finishing your Harvard Extension classes.

So HCP doesn't allow anyone in that have taken some pre-reqs? 🙁

What if i stayed at my current University and took upper level classes and graduated with more than the requierd # of hours. Is than an alternative to Post-Bacs?

This is not accurate. You will not be eligible for the certificate - I guess it matters for fin aid and access to some libraries and the gym. Anyone may take courses at Harvard Extension. You have to apply to the Health Careers Program (HCP) of Harvard Extension School (HES). Being accepted to HCP means that if you meet their criteria while taking courses at HES, they will sponsor you for your particular graduate program in the form of a committee letter. They will only accept you if they feel you have a shot. They won't waste your money. Call them and talk to them if you have specific questions.

technorino,

Moki is right, you can be admitted into the program with taking pre-reqs. I have completed all of my pre-reqs and I was still admitted into HCP.

Also, you do not have to take the DAT before applying.
