Gee whiz, ain't that nice? A brand new medical school, where you can study at home for your MD, and get the whole package for just $41,200, all in.

Plz welcome Delphi University to the select group of offshore oddball medical skools.

Don't worry. They're officially recognized by no less than His Royal Highness Prince Leonard, the supreme ruler of The Principality of Hutt River. (aka a farm somewhere in Western Australia).

Please do take time to visit the charming homepage of the Principality of Hutt River, where you'd be cordially welcomed by His Highness Prince Leonard, and his charming consort, Princess Shirley, the proud mother of Prince Ian, Duchess Kay, Prince Wayne, Duchess Diane, Prince Richard, Prince Graeme and Duchess Sherryl. 😍

Enjoy! They promise to have state-of-the-art medical school facilities in the Caribbean, Europe and the US at some point in the future.

(didn't think that anybody could beat Stewart University, but this gotta be at least a tie)👍

I like the "Online Store".

Haha! Could you imagine going to a professor/boss/PI and asking for a LOR?

They ask you: "Which schools are you looking at?"

You reply with a resounding "Delphi University!"

You'd be the coolest kid in town.

I would also like to point out, if you happen to look at their campus, you will see they intend to build "storm proof buildings incorporating the latest in educational technology" - gives new meaning to Medical school in a hut.

What the hell are these people thinking....

harvard, hopkins, or Devri?

Why should I choose Delphi University School of Medicine over other offshore medical schools?

Delphi University School of Medicine was designed to provide a high quality (all classes are taught by physicians), afforable medical education to both traditional and non-traditional students. Non-tradtional students usually have family obligations requiring them to work to provide for their families so they are not able to take off work for 4 years of school. They need an educational program that allows them flexibility to learn and study on their terms. The online portion of the curriculum allows this flexibility and helps keep costs down. Tradtional students also may want that flexibility and a lower cost alternative to other medical schools. Tuition for the entire degree program is 32,750 euros or about $41,200 US dollars - which is about the cost of one year at a private US medical school. Imagine graduating and not being over $120,000 in debit!

there are people who are planning to attend this school (see www.valuemd.com) and people defending the school already.

My guess is that it is a 'prank' but hard to know. The person supposedly in charge of the school is an AUC grad.

Obviously one can quickly realize that the 'monarchy' isn't recognized and you would be graduating from a school that isn't recognized by the Australian govt.

I do realize that some people are simply desperate to become physicians. However, even contemplating to attend a school which makes it absolutely impossible to get licensure in any (recognized) country in the world, including the US and Australia, is simply madness.
