if there's anything i've learned in either this process or the college application one, it's that good numbers don't guarantee ANYTHING.
i just think it's so pompous of anyone to expect anything from harvard, no matter what their application looks like.
seriously.
i had great numbers in high school and was completely disappointed with my acceptances.
my college GPA is good but my MCATs were just all right and i got interviewed at harvard. i think my essays, recommendations, and ECs did it.
numbers by themselves mean nothing, in this process.

My GPA and my MCATs are both pretty high, so I guess we have learned that Harvard doesn't screen based on GPA or MCAT. 😀 I went to a noname school, and didn't really have any ECs out of the ordinary, though, so I suppose I shouldn't be surprized...
Anyway, I guess I should now assume that a rejection letter from Harvard (pre-interview) is en route... 🙁 •••••
