Harvard Interview Email

Rumor has it the big H is sending out final interview invites today. Can anyone confirm? Did anyone get an email?
Cuz I SURE AS HELL DIDNT.

I guess it depends what they are doing today. If they met yesterday, then I guess we should have gotten it this morning. But if they are meeting today, we should get it, like, around NOW!!

bump. BTW, is there anyone that can certainly
confirm that today is the LAST day HMS is
sending out interview invites? I've heard this
from different sources, but the date (2/15) has not officially been mentioned.

okay so this is what happened. i called them Jan 31 and the guy on the phone said they would be done sending out invites in a week or 10 days, which would make it Feb 10 at the latest. But then again people who called around Feb 6 were told the last day was Feb 15. So basically I think they really don't know and just say something based on a crude estimation so we stop asking questions and hang up. OR today WAS the last day and I did NOT get an interview🙁((

When I emailed that guy in the office (Jason Graff?) he said that today was the last day they were sending out email invites. I didn't get one- I was pretty surprised that I didn't- but I guess you can never be certain of anything in this process.

I thought I would get an interview, if anything just because of my MCATs. My GPA and my MCATs are both pretty high, so I guess we have learned that Harvard doesn't screen based on GPA or MCAT. 😀 I went to a noname school, and didn't really have any ECs out of the ordinary, though, so I suppose I shouldn't be surprized...

Anyway, I guess I should now assume that a rejection letter from Harvard (pre-interview) is en route... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="frown.gif" />

if there's anything i've learned in either this process or the college application one, it's that good numbers don't guarantee ANYTHING.

i just think it's so pompous of anyone to expect anything from harvard, no matter what their application looks like.

seriously.
i had great numbers in high school and was completely disappointed with my acceptances.

my college GPA is good but my MCATs were just all right and i got interviewed at harvard. i think my essays, recommendations, and ECs did it.

numbers by themselves mean nothing, in this process.

Yo vyc, obviously grammar didn't mean squat when Harvard decided to interview you. No one was expecting anything from anywhere, and to say that numbers mean nothing is just plain stupid. The only reason that you posted this meaningless and irrelevant message was to announce to the world that you interviewed at Harvard, am I right? What a beautiful anomaly you are! I think you're the pompous one here.

i'm getting an english degree so bite me. i can write and write well.

i never expected a harvard interview. i almost didn't even apply. i don't expect to get in.

I got another email from harvard today (Sunday, 2/17), but it must be a mixup. Its offering me an interview for March 2nd (a saturday) but I already got an email on Feb 11th offering me an interview for NP on March 4th which I confirmed. So I'm not sure why they are sending me another email.

Anyways, this is pertinent to the issue at hand because in the new email they sent me, it explicitly states that the last interviews for HMS will occur on March 8th.

i got the same email as baylor today, email today for march 2nd. I had gotten an interview a few weeks back that gave me an interview for 2/14. I wrote them a withdrawal letter saying I wasn't going to the interview, and today I got another interview invitation for 3/2. they must really want me bad 😀

Anyways, yes my email said that their last interview date is 3/8. I'll email them back saying I'm not coming again and hopefully one of you guys who wants it can have my spot.
