Does anyone know what is the character limit for Question 4: "If you have already graduated, briefly summarize your activities since graduation."

There does not seem to be a limit when I paste several paragraphs into the text box, but when I print the page, only the first two lines appear. Should I limit my response to two lines?

limit it to the title of your job and where it's at if that's the case.

I got this e-mail from them...specific to question 4:

Thank you for your e-mail. The limit is 4000 characters but we would prefer your answer to be much briefer.

Thank you for the info. Unfortunately, I submitted my application yesterday. I reduced my essay from 3500 to 2000 characters. I guess I could've kept it at 3500 characters. Oh well.

were your paragraphs saved? When I paste my essay in, everything looks fine, but when I hit forward and then back to check everything, all line spaces have been removed. Anyone else get this problem?

I never would have noticed if I hadn't gone back to check, becuase like I said, everything looked fine when I first pasted it.

I didn't go back to check my entries. But when I printed that section, only the 1st two lines appeared on the page.

Harvard's print option only prints what you see on the screen. Hence, if you see 2 lines of text in your entry, it will only print the two lines. Other secondaries I've seen have formatted the "print" screen, so that all text is shown, although often with line breaks and indents removed.

Don't worry about loosing paragraphs (line breaks, not the words). If it happened to you, it happened to everyone.
