This is a question for Harvard dental students or those who know about Harvards waitlist policy:

What does it really mean to be put on the waitlist for Harvard?? If there a viable chance of being accepted or is getting passed up once put an applicant at a disadvantage?

Thanks!

I'm with you. I called in today to ask and Kristin Howard said that the number of people on the waitlist could not be released. She said it was definitely a possibility to be accepted if we're on the waitlist... My question is- who has gotten rejected? I know they take in 14-16 students on Dec 1st... I just want to know if the waitlist is about 15 students long or something like 50+. At any rate, I know that if I don't hear from them by March 1st, it's a done deal... who turns down Harvard after March?
Good luck.
