hi everyone, congrats to all of you, looking forward to seeing everyone at second look weekend! i posted earlier trying to find out when it was, anyone know, i heard april 15-17, is this correct? thanks!!!!

Hi priscy921, someone at the office told me it would probably be on the last weekend in April (but they weren't sure). Where did you hear April 15-17, out of curiosity? Thanks, see you there!

🙂

hi viking, actually, i thought i read on some SDN post that it was on april 15, so it might just be a total rumor. maybe i'll call the office today and then post what i hear... i'd just like to keep the weekend open so that's why i'd like to know soon, i have to tell my boss, get the days off etc. i'll fill you guys in when i find out... congrats again!! 🙂

ok, i called the office about second look weekend, viking you were totally right, i stand corrected, they said they're not positive on the date yet, but it will be either the last weekend in april, or the first weekend in may. so they said to keep those two weekends open, and that they'll tell us for sure very soon. so forget what i said earlier, it's NOT the fifteenth, wherever i read that on and sdn post earlier, it was wrong... see you guys then, congrats!! 🙂

Cool, thanks for clearing that up priscy921. I vote for the first weekend in May (if any Harvard admissions people are reading this 😉 ). I was going to take a vacation at the end of April. 😎

is there anyone else in the northeast who hasn't received their letter yet? how is it possible that they mailed my letter on friday and it still hasn't come almost a week later? (i live in boston). is it just my letter that's gotten lost somewhere, or are there other people in my situation too?

also, did everybody who got into hst get the e-mail from diana minasian? looks like i didn't get in to hst at least 🙁

I interviewed for both NP and HST and haven't heard back from either program either. I'm in the southeast.

my god...i was about to say i hadn't got anything yet and decided to check my mail before posting.

new pathways 🙂

I am on the west coast and still have not received anything other than the HST email to accepted students from Diana.

LG -

Do you know if that email for HST went to all accepted applicants or just some?

'Cause I can just stop waiting for the mail if it did.

I think it went out to all accepted applicants. Sorry Oasis. 🙁

Received a call from the director of admissions about the second look weekend. If I recall correctly, it's around April 29th to May 3rd or sumthin'. Maybe I'll meet some of you 🙂

Anyone have a match list or link? The thread in the allo forum just has a link to an article about match day with a few results.

periodic,

the folder they gave us at orientation includes a match list (though i think it's from 2 years ago).

I know this is a lot to ask, but would it be possible for someone to post the matchlist that they handed out? I know a lot of us would really appreciate it! 😍

Argh, waitlist...well, not the worst that could have happened, but still...argh...🙁

P.S. One reason that I particularly don't like waitlists is that I was waitlisted at several schools (including Harvard!) for undergrad... and never got in...

Is the waitlist ranked? If it is, you're probably okay. I think few students accepted from California may chose Stanford or UCSF because of the weather and financial aid. Don't worry too much! Good/decent/genuine people generally get a good deal. 🙂

Good luck! You have a good school under your belt anyway...so....
