After much personal editing and writing, and having my essay looked at by others, I submitted mine to EssayEdge and I liked their service. What was submitted back to me was mostly minor changes and a paragraph rearrangement or two. Like other similar services what you submit largely dictates what comes back: if you send them an essay that's basically a poorly worded laundry list your essay is going to comeback as such with a few embelishments. If you are going to use EssayEdge or another service, I suggest that you work on your essay to the point that you feel really comfortable with the result. Have others read it, and I don't mean your parents. Pick someone that isn't as familiar with you, someone that can read with a critical eye, such as your advisor, a professor, other students that you feel can read and write critically. After you have done this, and incorporated any necessary changes, then submit it to EssayEdge. An alternative to this is to submit your essay to your school's writing center (if they have one - if they do they are usually associated with the English department) and have them give it a good review. Best of luck!
