Has anyone been accepted to Harvard, Columbia, or Emory's MPH Program?

I'm hoping to hear from these programs early and their financial aid/scholarship packages. Depending on these, I will decided whether I delay a year before starting residency. Any current MPHers at these schools who received a scholarship or fellowship that covered your tuition?

I've been accepted at Emory but according to them, no decisions about scholarships happen until March and no info about financial aid until april.

Good luck on hearing from Columbia early...

I agree about the merit scholarships but apparently they're really hard to come by. Good luck and I hope you hear more info soon!

Got into Emory MPH on the 8th. Waiting on Harvard 80 hour SM... anybody heard from them yet?

Hey Jhops,

I received an e-mail today from a prof in the environmental health department at Harvard today: "letters are going out very soon." I applied for the SM2. So through deduction, my dear Watson, I suppose we can say that EH SM2 decisions are headed out very soon. But that's all I got.

Nice! Good luck! My fingers are (very) crossed.

I got an email of acceptance to the Harvard MPH program in Clinical Effectiveness today.

Congrats summervirus!

...the (awesome) peculiarity of your username struck me as I typed it. Nice. =)

Did anyone apply to or hear from the Family and Community Health MPH program?

Are there differences in competitiveness between the programs?

I heard the International Health Program is very competitive.

Summervirus, may I know your stats? Applied to the same program, haven't heard from them yet - is it solely for fellows?

Hi, it's my mistake. I just clarified with the office today. The email I got earlier this week was an acceptance to the Clinical Effectiveness program, but the official notices for the MPH program come out in early March. (I guess that some people just take the CE program without completing all the requirements for an MPH).

werd814: Thanks.

JustFixIt: I'm not sure if it's just for fellows. But, I have a Bachelor's degree, MD, and will be completing residency in a few months.
