Hello,

I have applied to a couple schools and am waiting nervously for replies.

It would be nice to know where you guys have applied and if you have received any news from them!

I applied to NYU, USC, Columbia, University of Washington, and UIllinois-Chicago.

I didn't have a great cum GPA but had a decent pre-req g.p.a.

Let me know if you guys hear back from your schools!

The only school I've heard from is an acceptance from Wash U in St. louis.

I applied to UIC as well and received an email from them (this morning actually!) saying they had received my application, but due to a large number of applications it had not been reviewed yet. (yikes!)

I've gotten no word at all from New Mexico or UNC.

I called NYU earlier today because I was concerned that I hadn't heard anything regarding receipt of my application. They basically said you don't hear from them until you get a decision...so yeah lol....makes me a little nervous

Made me even more nervous!

I heard that schools such as UIC and UW don't really accept many out of state applicants. 🙁

Yeah, NYU is pretty strict.
I called to check whether they had received my transcripts and they said that they won't allow anyone to call for that because of the high volume of applicants received.

I feel like they won't start their process until all the applications are turned in, which is like February for them.

They said that they were going to send a preliminary check list once the application has been turned in, but i have not received anything yet.

I applied to Columbia also...e-mailed them today, said they log the applications and they are processing them now b/c she said they got a record number (ahhhhhhhh) lol.....I'm still stressing about NYU but what can ya do? lol

I applied to USC early decision, but something went wrong with my transcripts! I had sent them in November but they did not receive them and so I had to re-send them two times after that! yeah, so they said they couldn't process my application for early.

I'm not sure what letter you are talking about.
But I did get a letter that said I have been pushed to the February deadline.
I talked to her on the phone and she said that she will try to get the admissions to review my app before February though.

I won't hear anything until mid March time frame. It's driving me crazy!

Just got into Samuel Merritt they called instead of sending a letter which was awfully nice of them at 8am

nope! But I just accepted to Washington University in St. Louis so I feel much more relieved! have you heard back from other schools??

I've heard back and gotten into: USC, Philadelphia Univ, and UF
I didn't get into NOVA, and I got an email from UIC saying they would give me a decision in the next month.. Has anyone heard from Univ of Pittsburgh?
