Has anyone received a rejection, interview invite or acceptance in that past 2 wks? I haven't heard much about BU even though I know they still have spots and are interviewing through April.
Has Anyone Heard Good or Bad News from BU lately?

I know that BU has been offering invitations for interviews in april for the alternate list...hopefully it means that they plan on filling up by then, not that they're already full......but i still haven't heard anything since my interview in february either....

I interviewed late February and was accepted in mid-march (just couple of weeks ago).

I just got a letter saying that I am on the Alternate list. Is there any chance for me to be admitted at all at this point? I really want to go to BU and I thought the interview went so well...

I believe BU doesn't rank the people on their waitlist so I am not sure how it works but if you really want to go to BU, a good tip is to write them a "letter of intent" and email it to Lianne Weber; she will forward it to the adcom. I spoke w/ Ms. Weber awhile back about the status of my application and this was what I was told. Also, I have been reading the medical school forum and it seemed that this is standard procedure for most pre-meds--so if it works for them, it should work in favor for us pre-dents too. A letter of intent should state intelligently and consisely why you want to attend BU. Good luck!
