has anyone received verification of application submission from AMCAS?

i thought that AMCAS was supposed to send email verification once you've submitted BEFORE they go about the transcript stuff. You know, something similar to the emails you get after buying a plane ticket or something... if anyone has received that initial email from AMCAS, can they please reply?

i am having trouble accessing my application for some reason, and i'm worried that mine didn't go through! 😛

Be patient. 🙂 You don't get that e-mail instantly like you do w/ airlines and online purchases. I went through all of this last year. Give them a few weeks for that e-mail, and no I'm not joking. Last year, they didn't send them out one by one...rather they sent the e-mails out to hoards of people every few weeks. They're real slow w/ this stuff. 🙂
