Has anyone taken an online course in genetics (second year genetics)?

I couldn't take genetics this spring semester as it created course conflicts, so I'm thinking of taking it online in the summer. I know that dental schools usually don't like online courses taken as prerequisites; however, I need to take genetics in the summer as few of the higher level biology classes in my university require genetics as a pre-requisite. I'm just wondering if anyone has had experiences taking an online genetics course (or any other science course) and could share details about it? Thanks.

How do you know your online credits will transfer to your uni?
Where will you take the online course from?

I'm asking bc I may decide to take an online course as well maybe calc or physics..
thanks

There's a site online here in Canada where it tells you whether or not the credits you take at another university is transferable to your home university. I plan to take this online course through Thompson Rivers University in my province of British Columbia.
