I think the profession will manage to squeak through this pre-med neurotic catastrophe.

Its so funny because I get such a visual image of these pre-md haters: I imagine they are sitting at their computer by themselves on a Friday night, because they lack enough personality to attend a social function, and use SDN to put down future DO's to feel better about themselves because that girl in orgo refused to hand out her phone number. Its probably also someone who lacks in "other" areas of their life..... therefore they use this MD superiority to compensate for their "shortness."

And the amusing part is...... many of the people leaving these messages 1. will not get into MD school or 2. will end of attending a DO school anyways

If your talking about the kid who posted about his grandmother they arent really hating on DOs in that thread. It is only the ***** OP and a few wise asses that came on to make stupid comments about OMM.

Most of the pre-allo guys know the truth about DOs, and will even go out of their way to clarify that DO = MD.

Lets not trash on them while they are sticking up for us over there.

this hating bussines is mostly from pre-meds (aka pre-allo), I don't think the same feelings are shared with actual doctors and whatnot...

My 2 brother in-laws (who are both MDs) are telling me "whatever school grants you an acceptance you take it and go with it, MD or DO, it doesn't matter, you'll eventually be a doctor"
