An Aspen dental rep is coming to give a presentation to our class here at UConn today at noon. I know it is last minute, but I though I would drop this off here and see if anyone bites.

Sooo..... Anyone have a burning question they want to ask? Just post it here and I will do my best to ask it and possibly write their response. Just know that I do not have the rep to myself nor do I have all day to talk with them, so lets keep the questions manageable for me please. 🙂

No particular question but give us an update on what he or she has to say. Just kind of curious.

Yeah, I will see if they say anything interesting I will post it here. 👍

"Why are you opening offices at the rate that weeds grow in a prairie, and why do you have so many patients suing you?"

Haha, that would be a ballin' question to ask, but in all seriousness, I'm interested to know what they're there to preach about. Sales pitch?

"Why go through all the hassle of opening a practice, operating it, and being drug down by all that "business stuff" you guys hate dealing with? Why.... why not let us do all that annoying work so you can focus on what YOU went to school to do - the stuff you love. We'll provide you with opportunity to become the dentist you've always dreamed of! We'll even assume all the risk.

Now, who here has student loans? okay...
How about females who plan to have kids in the next 10 years? okay...

Well listen up, guys. We're providing you with the opportunity to essentially be practice 'owner' from day one. You'll be calling the shots when it comes to patient care and again - without the risk of needing to take out a huge loan to make the level of income you can get risk free at one of our practices."

Then he'll talk about CEU opportunities and seal the deal by describing some success stories where dentists have taken home good pay in their first few years. This my prediction...

Man, I wish I posted this thread sooner because we did not have too many questions thrown their way... Yappy pretty much nailed it. I asked a few probing questions that they did a good job of not answering, but all said and done it was just a sales pitch.

Sorry guys - this thread had potential if I had posted it earlier lol
