Hello Everyone,

I took my DAT at the end of July 2007. I scored alright, I guess. I got a 17 in PAT and a 17 overall and in all other sections. I got an 18 in Organic Chemistry and a 15 in Quantitative Reasoning:idea:. My GPA is 3.568. I have shadowing experience, volunteer, leadership, and extracurricular activities. The schools that I have applied to so far are: NYU, UMDNJ, Temple, Howard. I haven't heard anything from schools as of yet and am VERY worried about it😱. I am just thinking about re raking the DAT again in end of October, but would that be too late? I really want some honest advice about this, because so far my senior year at college has been nothing but tons and tons of worried about this. I really don't want to re take the test, since I am taking 16 credits, research, seminars, and classes. Please, reply me back soon.

Thanks,

I don't wanna disappoint you but 17 overall doesn't seem that high. Your GPA is good though. I have bunch of friend with overall score over 17 (somewhere 20s) and they are worried not hearing from schools and they applied at least 7+ schools. I know that one applied 17 schools and he only heard from 1 school so far.
